Health and Human Services: Adopt resolution authorizing Health and Human Services Director to enter into agreement with the State of California Office of Traffic Safety for the Child Passenger Safety program grant, for the period of October 1, 2024 through September 30, 2025, and to accept, transfer and administer the grant funds and any subsequent funds awarded, and to execute any and all further documents upon review and approval of County Counsel and Risk Management.

Health and Human Services: Adopt resolution authorizing Health and Human Services Director to enter into agreement with the State of California Office of Traffic Safety for the Pedestrian and Bicycle Safety program grant, for the period of October 1, 2024 through September 30, 2025, to accept, transfer and administer the grant funds and any subsequent funds awarded, and to execute any and all further documents upon review and approval of County Counsel and Risk Management.

Health and Human Services: Adopt resolution authorizing Health and Human Services Director to accept, transfer and administer allocated funds from the California Department of Public Health (CDPH), through its Tuberculosis (TB) Control Branch for the period of July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025, and to execute any and all required documents upon review and approval of County Counsel and Risk Management.

Sheriff-Coroner: Approve amendment No. 1 to the agreement with Partners for a Safer America Inc., dba Jail Advertising Network, a Nevada Corporation, to provide bail and criminal law attorney advertising in the County Jail, and authorize Chair to execute.

Health and Human Services: Approve and authorize sole source justification for Youth for Change for Home Visiting Program Services for families receiving California Work Opportunity and Responsibility to Kids (CalWORKs) benefits for the term of July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2026.

Administrative Services: Declare items as surplus property and fully depreciated pursuant to Ordinance Code 2.50.060, and direct Auditor Controller to remove surplus items from Capital Asset listing upon receipt of disposal from Purchasing Agent.

Human Resources: Adopt resolutions adopting compensation and benefits summary for Unrepresented Miscellaneous Management; and Confidential Units, for Term of July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2027.

Community Development and Services: Ratify Change Orders 1-3, accept Contract No. 2024-4023 Plumas Lake Bike Path Project as complete, and authorize the Director of Public Works to file and record a Notice of Completion

Community Development and Services: Approve professional engineering services agreement with Peterson Brustad Inc. for the Climate Adaptation Capital Improvement Plan Project, and authorize the Chair to execute.

Community Development and Services: Adopt resolution authorizing an amendment for funding under the Community Development Block Grant No. 17-MITPPS-21033 for the County of Yuba Audible Alarm project.

Community Development and Services: Ratify Change Order 1, accept Contract No. 2024-2272 Pendola Extension Project as complete, and authorize the Director of Public Works to file and record a Notice of Completion.

Clerk of the Board of Supervisors: Approve meeting minutes of June 25, 2024.

Community Development and Services: Approve amendment No. 1 to the agreement with Wood Rodgers, Inc., for on-call professional engineering services, and authorize Chair to execute.

Administrative Services: Approve two (2) professional services agreements with Sutter Buttes Communication, and Sutter Circuits, for law enforcement vehicle equipment installation services, and authorize Chair to execute.

Any person may speak about any subject of concern, provided it is within the jurisdiction of the Board of Supervisors and is not already on today’s agenda. The total amount of time allotted for receiving such public communication shall be limited to a total of 15 minutes and each individual or group will be limited to no more than three minutes. Prior to this time speakers are requested to fill out a “Request to Speak” card and submit it to the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors.

Human Resources: Approve memorandum of understanding with Yuba County Law Enforcement Management/Supervisory Association (MSA) for a term beginning July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2027; Adopt resolution approving Compensation and Benefits for Unrepresented Safety Management Unit for term of July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2027; Amend resolution No. 2024-047 approving Compensation and Benefits for Unrepresented Elected Officials for term of July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2027; Adopt resolution amending the Classification System - Basic Salary / Hourly Schedule and the Yuba County Elected Officials Classification System - Basic Salary Schedule, effective July 1, 2024. Sheriff-Coroner: Ordinance - Hold public hearing, waive first reading, and introduce ordinance reaffirming Chapter 2.155 adopting a Military Equipment Use Policy to Title II (Administration) of the Yuba County Ordinance Code, and receive military equipment report for 2023.
