All matters listed under Consent Agenda are considered to be routine and can be enacted in one motion.
Human Resources: Adopt resolution amending Classification System Basic Salary/Hourly Schedule for Extra Help minimum wage effective January 1, 2019.
Emergency Services: Adopt resolution to approve renewal of ongoing local emergency proclamation due to Flood Waters.
Emergency Services: Adopt resolution proclaiming the existence of an ongoing local emergency in the County of Yuba due to Historic Rainfall.
Emergency Services: Adopt resolution proclaiming an ongoing local emergency due to Tree Mortality.
Community Development and Services: Approve Contract Change Order No. 1, accept Contract No. 180/2018 Winter Storms FHWA Culvert Replacement Project as complete; authorize Public Works Director to execute Contract Change Order, and sign and record Notice of Completion.
Community Development and Services: Approve agreement with 1st Choice DVBE, to provide professional engineering services for Oregon Hill Road over Little Oregon Creek Bridge Replacement Project, and authorize Chair to execute.
Board of Supervisors: Adopt resolution continuing a local emergency regarding the proliferation of illegal cannabis cultivation.
Clerk of the Board of Supervisors: Approve meeting minutes of Special Meeting January 7, 2019.
Human Resources: Adopt resolution amending and reaffirming HROS 2.02 Policy against Harassment, Discrimination and Retaliation, and adopt resolution amending and reaffirming HROS 1.12 Equal Employment Opportunity Policy and adopt 2019-2021 Equal Employment Opportunity Plan.
Any person may speak about any subject of concern, provided it is within the jurisdiction of the Board of Supervisors and is not already on today’s agenda. The total amount of time allotted for receiving such public communication shall be limited to a total of 15 minutes and each individual or group will be limited to no more than three minutes. Prior to this time speakers are requested to fill out a “Request to Speak” card and submit it to the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors. Note: No Board action can be taken on comments made under this heading.
Treasurer and Tax Collector: Adopt resolution delegating investment authority to Yuba County Treasurer for calendar year 2019, effective January 1, 2019. (Five minute estimate)
Treasurer and Tax Collector: Receive information on 2019 County of Yuba Investment Pool Statement of Investment Policy. (Ten minute estimate)
Sutter-Yuba Behavioral Health: Adopt resolution authorizing application for and acceptance of the Yuba County Noncompetitive Allocation award fund under the No Place Like Home program: and authorize and direct Interim Local Mental Health Director or his designee to execute acceptance form and all related documents on behalf of the County. (Five minute estimate)
County Administrator: Adopt resolution in support of and partnership with the 2020 Census. (Five minutes estimate)
The Board may direct any item of informational correspondence to a department head for appropriate action.
