Ben Flores-Ampla Health president, founded 54 years ago, in 6 counties, 20 medical centers, 6 clinics; long standing commitment to serving community. Believes participation on commission will provide an important voice. If appointed, committed to service and collaborative partner. Won’t represent ampla alone, will represent entire county.
Tracie Riggs-CEO for peach tree health, a little over a year. Difference in experience between candidates, both are very good representatives
RH-met with Rachel Farrell and Ben Flores previously, concern that FQHC were not at the table when Dr. Luu was the candidate. Can we require scheduled meetings with FQHC’s so that everyone has a voice?
SF-do you have collaborative meetings? Impromptu. RH-more often than annual/bi-annual meeting. Sutter rep is from AH, but sits on Ampla board also
KM-HHS can help facilitate those meetings, meet as frequently as Partnership meetings
