Diversity in the County allows us to weather unpredictability
DB-where is Hemp? Gone in Yuba county. Not in Sutter. Almonds-are we concerned about an overplanting of them? Some, same as walnuts. They are weathering, more universally used than walnuts. Same with cannabis, kiwis. Cyclical. New bills/mandates concerned? Statewide notification project-allow any member of the public to see where an application is taking place. Could affect operations, protest. Many more every year to regulate pesticides.
SF-we exported 20M lbs? things we specifically sent out. Pg 7 livestock column? Conglomerated proprietary information. Column not of use.
AV-do we have a handle on illegal pesticides? Other counties don’t, major issues. State agencies. List of things you’d like to see happen? Yes.
