- Health and Human Services: Adopt resolution authorizing Health and Human Services Director to submit application to the State of California Office of Traffic Safety (OTS) for the Pedestrian and Bicycle Safety Program grant; and to enter into agreement with OTS for the period of October 1, 2026 through September 30, 2027 and to execute any and all necessary documents required by the grant upon approval of County Counsel.

- Recommendation: It is recommended that the Board of Supervisors adopt the Resolution of the Board:
Authorizing the Health and Human Services Department (HHSD) Director to submit an application to the State of California – Office of Traffic Safety for the Pedestrian and Bicycle Safety Program grant and execute documents required by the application; and
Authorizing the HHSD Director to enter into agreement with the State of California – Office of Traffic Safety for the period of October 1, 2026 through September 30, 2027; execute, subject to review and approval of County Counsel, all documents as required by the grant; execute amendments, including but not limited to amendments for additional or lesser funding; and accept, transfer and administer the grant funds and any subsequent funds awarded for the stated period.
