Recommendation:: Administrative Services’ staff recommends the Board of Supervisors approve release of the Request for Proposals (RFP) for designing and installing two mezzanines at the Government Center, and authorize Administrative Services’ staff to distribute.
Background & Discussion:
The loading dock and warehouse at the Government Center is used for shipping and receiving, and storage space for equipment, janitorial supplies, election equipment, and other essential materials for daily operations. Administrative Services desires to maximize the space in the current area by creating multi-level floor. This will create additional space and optimize the area at the Government Center. Estimated cost for this project is $225,000.
Administrative Services recommends the Board approve the release of this RFP and authorize Administrative Services’ staff to distribute.
Committee Action:
This item is brought directly to the Board of Supervisors due to the routine nature of this request.
Fiscal Impact:
There is no fiscal impact to release the RFP.
