Recommendation:
The Public Works Department recommends that the Board of Supervisors accept the 2020 Overlay Contract No. 2020-9203 as complete; authorize the Public Works Director to sign and record a Notice of Completion for the project.







Background



All-American Construction, Inc. was awarded the contract for the 2020 Overlay Project (Contract No. 2020-9203) on May 26, 2020. The project consists of replacing asphalt surfacing, asphalt overlays, and striping for various roads. The final construction cost for the work is $2,655,458.11.





Discussion



The Contractor has completed the work. Once the Board accepts the project as complete, the Public Works Director will file a Notice of Completion for the project with the Yuba County Recorder.





Committee Action:



The Land Use and Public Works Committee was bypassed as this project is included in the Public Works Budget.



Fiscal Impact:



General Fund: None.



Non-General Fund:

Road Fund: $2,655,458.11 in SB1 revenues and other gas taxes from the Road Fund.
